The Vasey Coat made in pure silk in a stunning saffron orange colour.

With a subtle sheen and a woven finish, this fabric visually resembles linen but is made of silk, has a stronger hold and is far less susceptible to creasing.

The coat is lined in matching silk with a contrast khaki bias.

The Vasey Coat

The Vasey is one of the most shaped and tailored of our coats. It has neat pleats at the shoulders and a structure that mirrors the traditional hourglass shape. Flattering for all sizes, this coat is designed with the fuller busted and or curvier of frame in mind.

Generous full length sleeves are slitted at the wrist and have deep internal hems, allowing the wearer to fold-back the cuff elegantly. It has two hidden seam pockets and is designed to be worn low on the calf.

While designed to be worn open, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; the two front edges can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.

The seams and structure of the Vasey mirror the traditional hourglass shape, accommodating the (often forgotten) wider back and are designed to flatter the wearer.
