DARNING / MENDING KNITWEAR WORKSHOP

One of our favourite designers in store, zero-waste knitter Valentina Karellas is holding a mending work shop to show you how to repair or revamp your pre-loved pieces!
Have a favourite knit that you can't part with but have no idea how to mend it? Or perhaps you have a plain knit that needs uplifting? Then this is the workshop for you, we will carefully guide you through the cathartic process of visible mending or darning, to repair, customise and rejuvenate your knitwear!
In this 2-hour beginner level workshop, you will be given all the skills to repair a stained or damaged knitted piece or give a second life to an older piece using traditional hand sewing visible mending / darning techniques, as well as a couple of interesting stitches to shake things up a bit.
