Our favourite shirt dress design re-iterated for the fall season – we’ve kept the flattering bias-cut panels on the waist and added smart, cuffed long sleeves to make it more weather-appropriate.
This silhouette is inspired by the dramatic, feminine silhouettes of vintage dresses from the 40’s. We also experimented with bias-cut panels, now an uncommon element in contemporary clothing due to the complexity in construction.
This Romanticist dress in a beautiful olive shade of mid-weight cotton needlecord from a local British supplier. The dress comes with a belt attached at the back – for a relaxed look, tie the belt at the back or else wrap it around to the front to cinch in the waist.
