Our founder began PLATFORM when she was a small designer herself, committed to slow fashion and quality craftsmanship, and this continutes serves as the foundation of our store.
We believe that fashion, art and lifestyle products have a place in this world – not as throw-away, consumable items, but as seasonless items that will stand the test of time.

PLATFORM is proud to give a voice to small designers and artists, allowing them to reach new audiences. We feel a great responsibility to these micro-businesses that choose to work with us, often times exclusively, trusting us to tell their stories.
In our London store, we work in a collaborative way, with the designers themselves working together to staff and run the store. Depending on the day you visit, you may meet a knitter, dress designer, jeweller, etc. making each store visit special.
We hope to bring that same in-person experience online, sharing what we love about each carefully selected item and providing information about each designer - and if you want to know even more? We believe that fashion, art and lifestyle products have a place in this world – not as throw away items, but as seasonless products that will stand the test of time. Buying less and buying better means less unwanted items being produced, less items in landfills and a better planet for us all.
PLATFORM brands are using natural materials like organic cotton, linen, wool, cashmere and silk. You won't find acrylic in our jumpers or polyester in our dresses (unless it's recycled) because we know that our customers value quality materials and so does our planet!
We want you to feel good about what you buy from us and that means the products you buy are made in a way that respects the craftspeople who make them. Our designers are producing in an ethical manner, with safe working conditions, fair wages and respecting workers’ rights. In some cases, the designer of the brand is also the maker of the products!
These best-practices in consciously-made, sustainable items can be reflected in the cost, but we believe this is something we are all willing to pay for a beautiful product that respects our planet and fellow humans.
