We love this gorgeous mug, which is part of their Tropicana collection, an amalgamation of previous “Shangri La” and “Fatal Attraction” collections, focusing on the flora of Penang and the natural phenomenon of aposematism, when creatures take on bright colors to indicate their toxicity.

Description

The mug features some of Aase’s favourite plants; the Lipstick Palm, Birds Nest Fern, Lobster Claw Plant, and Ginger Flower. It also features a poison dart frog and three beautiful beetles. It has a gorgeous dark teal and green colour palette and is called ‘Luna’ because it resembles moonlit foliage.

It comes presented in our beautiful black and gold packaging.

Dishwasher ‘safe’ up to 300 washes. Hand wash recommended to best preserve gold.
350ml capacity when filled 1cm from the rim.

They witnessed firsthand the impact of gemstone mining: unethical community treatments, contamination of water sources, and land obliteration are just a few of the atrocities that damage our precious earth as a result of gem excavation.

Saddened by what they saw, they are determined to find a means to produce precious gemstones without adversely impacting the environment.

They drew on their educational experience in chemical engineering to identify sustainable and innovative methods of cultivating high-grade precious gemstones in lab environments. From here, they created beautiful jewelry out of these dazzling gemstones and brought them to all of us.
