We celebrated International Women’s Day at an incredible event in Marylebone Village! The evening spotlighted the fantastic female-led businesses in our community, and our very own founder, Stacy Chan, was front and centre on a powerhouse panel of inspiring women in business.
Hosted by local legend and broadcaster Jo Good, the panel brought together some seriously impressive names: Henrietta Rix, co-founder of RIXO; Marielle Wyse, founder of WYSE London; and Jennie Allen, founder of Bayley & Sage. And to top it off, Charlotte Collins, Editor-in-Chief of SheerLuxe, brought her wealth of knowledge on fashion and media.
Held at The Marylebone Hotel on March 3rd, the evening was a deep dive into what it really takes to build a brand, overcome challenges, and thrive in competitive industries. Stacy shared her own journey of launching PLATFORM Store, what she’s learned along the way, and why supporting independent designers, especially female entrepreneurs, is so important to her.
The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was Accelerate Action, and the conversation covered everything from breaking barriers in business to finding that ever-elusive work-life balance. Stacy and the other panellists gave honest, insightful advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, making it a truly inspiring night. Why not pop down to PLATFORM Store and ask Stacy to share her insights?

It wouldn’t be an IWD event without giving back. The evening supported The Marylebone Project, the largest and longest-running centre for homeless women in London, championed by artist Ellie Goulding.
We’re also thrilled that PLATFORM Store is featured in a special content series on Marylebone Village’s socials! In a heartwarming chat with Jo Good, Stacy opened up about her childhood dream of becoming a CEO, the ups and downs of the journey, and the advice she’d give her younger self.
Events like this remind us why we do what we do, celebrating and championing incredible female talent in the industry. If you’re feeling inspired (we are!), why not pop into PLATFORM Store and shop an incredible selection of pieces by female designers and entrepreneurs? Let’s keep celebrating and lifting each other up, today and every day!
