ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Fariba started her career in architecture working for the award-winning British practice Foster + Partners.  While working within architecture she nurtured her long-held passion for pattern creation that took seed when she was a child, working alongside her mother, a Persian rug designer and maker.

To pursue this interest, Fariba explored various options of turning her patterns into a tangible product.

“Being a long-time lover of scarves, these were the only patterned items I would normally use myself while otherwise keeping my outfit pretty plain and basic.  I then decided that scarves would be the perfect canvas for my ideas.”

Fariba’s collections reflect both her working background and her cultural heritage. With an architectural background, simple lines, natural and geometric shapes are the essence of her design. She channels her affinity for quality of materials, layering, colours, and shapes into her collections, putting a modern twist on the functional design.

Fariba creates luxury designer scarves that are modern, bold and classic with a twist. Available for women and men, the softest cashmere, silk, linen and virgin wool are used to bring her clean, abstract patterns to life. Premium quality in every aspect of these luxury Italian scarves and pocket squares is paramount.
